Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ask Fenix ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Ask Fenix mobile app ("the App").

1. No Account Required

Ask Fenix does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or other profile information directly. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and managed entirely by Apple.

2. Voice & Conversation Data

When you speak to Fenix, your voice input is processed to generate a spoken response. This involves sending the content of your conversation to third-party AI providers we rely on to generate responses and speech:

These requests pass through our own relay server, which exists only to keep our API credentials secure — it does not create user profiles, and does not persistently store the content of your conversations.

3. Infrastructure & Abuse Prevention

Our relay server keeps a temporary, coarse count of request volume per hour to prevent abuse of our services. This count is not tied to your identity and is automatically discarded after each hour.

4. Subscription & Payment Data

All payment and subscription information is handled directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. See Apple's own Privacy Policy for details on how they handle this information.

5. Data Retention

We do not maintain a database of your conversations or personal information. Because no account is created, there is no persistent personal profile to request access to or deletion of beyond what Apple retains for your subscription.

6. Children's Privacy

Ask Fenix is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
